When you shoot a beautiful photos, you should attend background elements because a good or bad background will have influence to the successful photos. For example, when you take a photos in the morning, you should look at the sunlight, bright hotspots such as sun coming through trees, strong geometric shapes, or bright colors. If you have problems with lights, you need to move the subject or camera position around to avoid or minimize their impact.

Foreground

Foreground is one a popular elements that help photographer create framing. Foreground is considered as a part of a scene or picture that is nearest to and in front of the viewer. But a good harmony will help your shoots become prominent and attract the reader’s attention. The simpler, less cluttered backgrounds work best, especially when the color tones harmonize. For example, you should chose an blue ocean as the background for these two chairs as it had the same hues (color tones) as their scenery. Look at your subject’s spaces, and then find a background tone that will compliment it. This will make them stand out from the background and not create a distracting color contrast.

Be careful that the subject doesn’t blend into the background. There are no distracting background elements. The background almost has a 3D look in the way it diminishes. Column over column, and arches layering over each other, creates great depth.

When searching for suitable locations, you may find lots of distracting objects and textures that will make your image busy. This is when pre-visualizing where the camera and subject should be placed, and what you want to be included in the background should be used.
